Though dedicated Stanley fans may have spent the night outside of their local Targets in hopes of nabbing the drinkware company’s limited edition Starbucks cups, one thief had a better idea — hopping over the barista’s counter, grabbing a box and making a run for it.

In the now viral clip, one man — who has since been minted as the arch nemesis of suburban white women across the nation — could be seen quickly popping behind the Starbucks counter at the big box retailer, nabbing a package of the prized, pink tumblers and sprinting away, a stunt met with a chorus of “woah”-s and a very pointed “get out of here.”

Despite doing his damndest to make a break for it, weaving around one visibly irritated blonde, he met his match, getting sacked by a customer guarding the chain’s automatic doors.

“Get him, get him!” one passerby can be heard yelling in the background. “Stop him, stop him!”

After several seconds of scuffling, the mystery interceptor managed to do just that, tackling the would-be shoplifter to the black carpeted floor. While he may not have nabbed the box, the thief was able to walk away with a sweet five-finger discount on one of the cups — which are already listed on resale sites for as much as $300.

As one unnamed woman so aptly put it from behind the camera this theft — and the Stanley obsession as a whole — “is insane.”
